Is It Difficult To Understand The “Sense Of Nonsense ” Of Huang Yongsheng’s Watercolors??

Abstract: As a Zenist philosophy goes, mountains are mountains, waters are waters;mountains are not mountains, waters are not waters; mountains ARE still mountains, waters ARE still waters. Mr. Huang Yongsheng’s watercolors also come from nature and then ascend to inner feelings. The most attractive thing is the abstract elements in the painting.
Zhang Xiong Art correspondence (Article/Hu Ying) The founder of Chinese abstract painting Wu Dayu said, “Beauty is in the heaven, just like the clouds; once it is cut off, falls into the eyes, roots in the heart and grows up as art. ” I think, the abstract pictures that Wu Dayu weaves with poems and music have a kind of abstract beauty and express the characteristics of watercolors. Watercolors take water as the intermediary and blend it with colors, bringing a “sunshine feeling” by the brush. Such “sunshine” does not refer to the effect of light and shadow but a light sensation of language emitted through artists’ treatment. It is not as heavy as oil painting, not as seclusive as ink painting, but feels as relaxing as ethereal music.
